Startup Q&A
Table of contents
I’m a CPA and I manage the books for over 500+ startups. While there have been some disruptors in the Accounting Software space (Xero, Wave, and Freshbooks) I still believe that QuickBooks is the best. For now. There are key features that are missing in some of the new competitors, BUT they’ve definitely put pressure on Intuit/QuickBooks to become more innovative.
If you’re a startup, go with QuickBooks Online.
It’s easy to use
It integrates with many other accounting apps (Bill.com, Zenpayroll, Abacus, Expensify, etc)
It easily transitions to QuickBooks desktop should you become a mutli-million dollar company and need more robust accounting capabilities.
